How to create, display and delete custom views

If you have a large Excel worksheet and find it difficult to navigate from one part of the worksheet to another, then you can use a feature in Excel called Custom Views to define parts of your worksheet as unique units.To create a custom view:

  1. Select the worksheet area that you want to define as a view.
  2. In the View menu click Custom Views. The Custom Views window will open.

  1. Click the Add button. The Add View window will open.

  1. Enter a name for the view then click OK.
  2. Your view should now be created.

To display a custom view:

  1. In the View menu click Custom Views.
  2. The Custom Views window will open with a list of available views.
  3. Select the required view then click Show. Or simply double-click on the name of the view.

To Delete a custom view, follow the same procedure for a display but click on Delete instead of Show.
